A Review

Where do I begin?!  I won an overnight stay with a spa package during the Jack Dusty Yelp Elite event.  That is in no way influencing my review.  The Ritz knows how to deliver a five star experience.  From the moment we pulled up, we were treated like royalty.  Every staff person is friendly and professional.  We looked hot, so we were immediately offered a bottle of ice cold water.  Was there a charge?  No!  As it should be.  We also discovered the orange infused water jugs throughout the property.

We were directed to our room which was appointed with soft sheets, robes, and a gorgeous bathroom.  Our view overlooked the Bay and the swimming pool.  I was impressed by the fact that I could not hear anyone in the other rooms, so they must have given attention to detail in sound proofing the rooms.

There is a shuttle service that will transport you to and from St. Armands or the Beach Club and we took full advantage of it.  The driver even came back to pick us up because we missed our pick up at the designated time.  (thank you!)

My friend and I were treated to two signature massages in the spa.  From the moment we entered the facility, you could just feel the stress start to melt away.  The lights are dimmed, we were shown to the locker room where we were then given a tour of the spa.  We were encouraged to enjoy the healing waters in the spa or take a hot steam (with eucalyptus) sauna or the dry sauna.  There was fresh orange infused water, or organic teas to drink while we lounged in the spa.  We also spent some time outside on the private terrace reading magazines and enjoying the afternoon.

We both selected the signature massage with the hot stone treatment and I was not disappointed!  I was offered aromatherapy before the massage started and it was really enjoyable.

After the massage, we took advantage of the showers in the spa to save time in getting ready for the evening.  The shower room had everything you could imagine.  Shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, gel, razors, shaving cream, combs, brushes, hair dryers.  It was fun looking through everything they had.

I'm back at home now dreaming about my relaxing weekend at the Ritz and contemplating my return.  It was so enjoyable, I will definitely make plans to return.  Thank you so much for a wonderful time!
