RULE 4: DON'T BE A PERFECTIONIST
"For me, it's not about the fact that you'll never see anything like these pieces again. It's a global marketplace. I'm now recognizing things I know as Peruvian in antique malls in Illinois! People have been at this for ages. For me, it's about the memory, and what each piece will represent in your home. When I bring things back from trips, it's not because they're in perfect condition or the finest example of the category, it's about the fact that I found it, and every time I look at it, it makes me think of that flea market, or that basement antique shop.
